About STEM Fellowship Program: 

 

STEM Education is Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics integrated into project based learning. It is an interdisciplinary approach based on real world challenges which inculcates critical thinking and problem solving skills in children.

 

Edugenie’s  STEM Fellowship is a one-year, full time paid fellowship where fellows get  a chance to work with students and educators to improve the teaching-learning process. 

 

Fellows are trained rigorously in experiential math and science curriculum developed by Edugenie. Fellows actively work with our partner schools (govt or private) , where they implement these innovative and effective methods to inspire children. Fellows share their valuable feedback and document their learnings and experiences for further improvement of the course. After successful completion of projects, fellows become Certified STEM Educators. 

 

The projects include year long engagement with partner schools for general upliftment of interest and performance of students in integrated subjects of STEM. Some projects are also implemented in a short span like -festivals, camps and teacher training . Through these short and long term projects,fellows get an exposure to realities of our current education system, which helps them develop the right mindset and skills to excel in the education sector. It is thus a unique opportunity to learn, apply and create effective educational methods and systems. This fellowship program is our bid to briefly nurture young professionals advancing their career in the education sector (STEM Teaching-learning).

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Active engagement during the training period

Eligibility:

​

• Graduate with a minimum of Bachelor’s Degree  in Sciences or Engineering

• Good communication skills 

• Basic documentation skills and friendly with MS Office or Google Suite

• Teaching experience (preferred)

Program Details: 

​

• Fellowship Period - 12 Months

• Full time, Contractual 

• Location - Guwahati, Assam 

• Monthly Stipend - ₹ 15,000 to 20,000 per month
